Field Study Opportunities

4-H Stream Teams is a new opportunity for youth in Pennsylvania that are interested in water, environmental awareness, science, and their local community. Youth participate in hands-on learning experiences and take part in implementing a water based community service project in their own neighborhoods.

Connections field trips are funded by organizations, businesses and individual donors.  ClearWater raises the funds to cover program expenses annually. Eligible expenses include Millbrook Marsh Nature Center program fees and transportation costs.

Shaver's Creek Environmental Center offers a variety of summer camps that are aimed at getting children outdoors and learning about their local environment.

Millbrook Marsh under the Centre County Parks and Recreation offers outdoor adventure camps for children ages 3 and up.

Discovery Space offers week-long camps of stand-alone sets of lessons based on a different science theme.

The WATER Project

Lesson plans developed by Clearwater Conservancy and Penns Valley Conservation district to engage students during field trips.
